Hi All,
Recently, along with Anthony Wesley & Phil Miles I was invited to take part in the Voyager 3 Project run by Peter Rosen in Sweden. The aim was to provide continuous coverage of the GRS from Australia and Europe for a long enough period to attempt to animate the rotation of the GRS.
Peter has recently published the final result and it is just amazing.
Have attached a link to the vimeo animation.

Gosh that band below is really roaring along. Really changes your perception of it seeing in an extended animation.

The mind boggles at how strong those winds must be in the band below the GRS. Are there any estimates for the windspeed?
It looks like its several hundred miles an hour. That makes hurricane windspeeds on earth seem tame.
Greg.

That bright band below the GRS is the EZ and it has an Eastward flow of approx 300 klm/hr. I have seen zonal wind profile charts that indicate even higher winds speed along the border of the EZ and NTrB.

Super cool Trevor, really excellent stuff!
Hi Trevor,
Comforting to see the clouds here back on Earth did not get in the way of
all that extraordinary perseverance by those involved in being able to
achieve such a stunning result.
Well done to you all.

Peter's team did an amazing job with so many different images nearly all of which had been captured using numerous scopes and filters. I'm looking forward to next years follow up which will hopefully be even better with more of us participating.
Regards, Phil
