Thumbs up for Ozscopes.

I thought I might put in a good word for Ozscopes. So many people mention the bad stuff, but forget to share the good. I purchased a SkyWatcher Heritage 130P Dobsonian Telescope as it was recommended by a lot of people in these forums. It was marked down from $399 to $234.95. I paid for it Tuesday, they sent it Wednesday, and it arrived today. Unfortunately I wasn't home so we have to pick it up from the post office in the morning.

They're definitely worth dealing with. The customer service is great too.

I bought my Skywatcher Black Diamond 120 from OzScopes, it arrived in less than a week from when I ordered it and their price was considerably lower than other retailers who had it in stock at the time.

But...I have to be honest, as much as I appreciated the prompt delivery time and competitive price, OzScopes seem reluctant to offer much in the way of after sale service (in other words, if you have any issues with a product they will hand-ball you over to either Sheldon and Hammond or Tasco) and they state that their product range is strictly limited to what is shown on their website. I hope the situation there has evolved slightly since my dealings with them because they are one of the very few alternatives to folks like Bintel.

I must give them a thumb up too. I once had a problem (and yes, it was after-sale service) and they were very helpful.
