Took this on saturday night total of 1 hour 18 minutes . I wasnt about to post this as i'm not that impressed with this shot. there were quite alot of noise which i had to remove causing the lost of details. Flats and darks were not used as i forgot all about it :( dohh! have to try again some other night.

Cripes Eric, you are too modest, it is a ripper. I tried it myself last week, and it was nowhere as good as that. The Helix is a VERY difficult target.

You would've been well-pleased with that shot not less than 2 months ago Eric! :) Shows how far you've come.

Still a nice image Eric,

You have lost a fair bit of the faint neb detail due to over processing and darkening of the back groud but I can also understand why this was done to get a nice looking result.

The helix is not that easy to image.

Wow thats great, especially the colour. The modded cameras though more red sensitive dont seem to be able to reproduce the gorgeous aqua colours of the centre that yours has done. Great imaging and processing

Thanks andrew and scott. Maybe the UHC-S Filter + unmodded makes that aqua colour? *shrugs*
