Picture upload problem.

Tried tonight to put an entry into the Sept. photo challange.When I click manage attachments a new window opens, I then browes through to the file on my computure (which I resized to 126KB) and click upload. After about half the upload is achieved the window goes to the login page and stops the transfer. This is with dialup at 46Kbps. This is my very first time ever trying to put a picture on the internet am I doing anythig wrong? Any help would be appreciated. By the way, this window on forums stays logged on. Help!!

It sounds like you are going about it the right way. Not sure why you are kicked to log in. I'll check it out.

Maybe try with a much smaller file size first, and see if the problem is still there. 126kB is quite big for uploading on dial-up. Otherwise :shrug:

When I was on dial-up it used to happen to me occasionally too Wade.

Persist, and it will eventually go thru. I remember the frustration though!

Thanks to everyones help. A combination of resizing to 108KB and persistance succeeded. The result may be seen on the September photo challange.
