Hi,
NGC 4725 is magnitude 10.1 with a diameter of 10.4 arc minutes.
A challenging galaxy from my location, it's maximum elevation is 30 degrees.
Quite happy with what I plucked out :).
As you can see from the original stacked image there's a lot of red coming through to elevation variable seeing.
8” F/4 astrograph , baader type 3 coma corrector,. HEQ Pro 5 mount, orion mini guider.
Camera.
Unmodded Cannon 1100D plus cooler box. 32 subs x 2 minutes at ISO 6400. Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker .Processed in Photoshop Cs2..
Cheers,
Justin.

Thanks Bob!:)
You should give the Coma galaxies a go with your setup and being further North.
Cheers,
Justin.

Great stuff Justin! One I must add to the list. It will be a bit higher here. Needs to be also to get over the streetlights and trees.

Very nicely done, Justin. I like the raw-vs-processed comparison thumbnails. A smallish galaxy skilfully extracted from the northern gloom.

This is my best result so far on a low altitude DSO.
Thanks Allan!
Thanks Leo!
It would be great to image NGC 4725 from your location.
