I’m selling my Celestron 9.25″ Adv XLT SCT. I’m selling the SCT telescope only, not the mount or the guidescope pictured. I’ve upgraded to the next model.
This telescope is less than a year old, and has only left my backyard once to go up a nearby hill so it’s in very good nick. You can see the shots I’ve been taking with it at deography.com … including a NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day! ( http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap150320.html )
The only reason I’m upgrading to the next model up is for hyperstar compatibility. Otherwise I’d be perfectly fine to keep it. It’s a great telescope!

It’s RRP with mount is $4k but I’d be happy to sell (OTA only) to an IIS member for a mere $1,150. Pickup from Byron Bay, NSW but I can deliver all the way to Brisbane if required. I'd rather drive it over than sending optics by post if possible.
Includes instructions, finderscope, star diagonal and eyepiece as standard.
But I’m also throwing in the 6.3 Focal Reducer (RRP $144USD) and the DSLR Piggyback mount (RRP $32USD) that lets you mount a camera to the tube for long exposure wide field.
