Looking at grabbing one of these and taking the foam out and getting some custom cut foam for another scope.
Can anyone comment on durability and if it's a good case? Picture's would be great as well.

Why not go to a music store and find a case that fits? They make these cases for a wide range of musical instruments, and sometimes with pluck foam so you can fit it yourself.
I take it you gave up on the Craftrite case options (which are more durable than these aluminium cases anyway)

Refine the eBay link for Australian only sellers if you prefer.
I have used a case made for instruments previously. Perfect.

Craftright cases are good but I want a case between the medium and large sizes. I don't mind paying more for that piece of mind, buying a $50 case for a telescope that's so much more doesn't sit right with me.
Thanks for the links!

I bought this one which is built very well and is a decent price.
