Astrobin index

Hi everyone,

Would someone please explain to me what the index is on the Astrobin website? I've just created an account there and I wanted to 'like' some of the photos and it says that I must have an index of 1.0 or greater.

I think you need to add your own images to help bring your index up. I guess it's just a way to stop spam bots?
