Do any of our members own one of these? I'm wondering what the difference is between the Tri-Pier 1 and Tri-Pier 2.
According to the PierTech website the only difference appears to be the built-in battery. Also interested to know how much they weigh.
I'm looking to move away from the Skywatcher tripod I am currently using and since I'm not really in a position to bolt anything into concrete at this stage, I thought the Tri-Pier might be a good solution.
If anyone here owns one, please tell me your thoughts on it. :thanx:
