I have a LXD75 that I have never used and so I think it's best that it goes on the market so that someone wanting a good priced goto eq can have a shot at it.
I bought it S/H from Hands On Optics about 18 months ago for $450+shipping and will pass it on for $400+shipping
I have had it on and it functions, and a terrestrial alignment was a very smooth operation. Beyond that though I cannot give any details, or assurances. There is no reason to doubt it, just that I haven't done anything with it. My circumstances better suit a Dob and all the plans I had for this have come to naught because of those circumstance.

I am putting it up for sale, but would much prefer a Tasmanian sale since I can deliver, or meet half way with the purchaser.
I have no idea what shipping would cost but would guess a little over $100 within Tassie and a bit less than $200 interstate (depending on 23kg weight and then final dimensions of the box). However you can arrange your own shipping if that better suits you, and you can get a better price.

Heavy-Duty German Equatorial Mount
Heavy-Duty Tripod
AutoStar #497 Controller
"GO-TO" Capacity
a 51/5' cable I have made to fit the small rechargeable lead acid batteriess you get at hardware and auto shops that range up to 7~8amps
a lengthy car cigarette lighter power cable
the standard 4.3kg counter-weight
Illuminated Polar Scope

There is a ding in one of the legs that doesn't effect operations, or weaken the leg (see photo)

Price will be $400+shipping

PM me if you are interested.

Thx - Trevor

Graham, I have added a photo of the plug console and added the fact that it has an illuminated polar scope.
It doesn't, but this might help:

I would believe. This happens to me too and it is annoying.
I'm not sure if Cathy (Coldknight) makes something that would suit. She indicated here system works with this mount since it's basically an eq5 GOTO
