After nearly four years of saving by running astronomy nights for other schools and even making and selling our own pasta (known as bromanchini pasta to emphasise the loving relationship that all the kids and staff think is going on between Adam and I as we vanish into the dark nights alone together) we got our Lunt 100mm yesterday.

I know my processing skills are very early in development but here is the first light image taken today. I don't properly know how to colour it but I like it the way it is.

Camera was DMK 41.

Very excited.

Way to go Mark - on getting the scope, and your first light image.

You, and your students must be stoked.

Nice one, plenty detail and I am sure things will come along as you try different processing approaches.
