Hi all.
I have an observing chair available for sale in the western Sydney area.

The chair is large, heavy, and probably not very car trip friendly, but it is very solid, surprisingly comfortable, and I think it's perfect for someone with a large scope in their back yard.

The chair was built a few years ago by my father. The seat and foot rest are height adjustable from 30cm to 110cm from the ground. Both are removable if needed, and have locking pins to make sure that they will not move once locked. The frame is Tasmanian oak, and seat / foot rest are marine ply. It's not going to fall apart any time soon :)

Due to the size, it's going to be pick up only. I am in the Seven Hills area. Depending on timing, I may be able to drop it off somewhere.. If you are in the Adelaide area, and are interested, let me know.. I MAY be able to arrange something. (especially if you are driving and have room in your vehicle :) )

I would like $80 for the chair, but happy to negotiate. I would honestly prefer to see it used than not, so happy to talk about what you think is fair.

In the interest of full disclosure, I have another pm that arrived a few minutes later than Peter's post above. Peter was first, so going with that.

Peter, pm me your details and we can sort something out. :)

Hi Peter, I had sent a private message as well, but have to had any response yet.

I am leaving Sydney on Sunday, so would need to organise something for tomorrow. Otherwise I may need to look at giving the chair to someone else. Sorry Peter. Please check pm, and we can organise something.

Hi Jeff I was wondering if you knew if there were any drawings on the building of this chair I would love to try and copy the design.
As I'm in WA buying it isn't happening just thought I'd ask.
Thanks Brad.

Thanks Matti :)
Brad, I don't have any specific drawings for this chair any more, but I am pretty sure we took the design off another chair from these forums. I will see what I can find :)
