The ISS just made a perfect flyover right through the Zenith 90 degrees high. Taken through 10 inch f5.6 newtonian, 600 d dslr. ISO 800, 2000th sec. Sadly seeing was a bit poor, stars twinkling a lot.

hi scott so you went with photos rather than video!? brave move (600d only 3.7 fps) but it has paid off, great capture.

I tried video before because its aspect changes so quickly and it zig zags all over the screen as I manually push the scope by hand, video doesn't seem to turn out as well as stills. Cheers

I had just finished packing up some backyard tools and capers this even, sat for a cuppa, lookeed up and whats going over, yep, from a SW to NE fashion :P tho prob 80deg alt here !
She's a challenging target when resulting in details like yours - mighty well done :thumbsup:

Great catches, Scott. I saw it too late to do anything but look. Actually are you sure this is the ISS? It looks awfully like Thunderbird 1 from that angle!
