Managed to get one clear night over the last new moon and captured 3 images. This is one of them, with the others to follow.
Seeing was OK, but not great (high 2.xx FWHM). Anyway, this one is 13 exposures in 5 x R, 4 x G, 4 x B all of of 500 sec for a total of 1.8 hours. Colours are good, but the stars are a bit eggy--not sure why, but it may have been a battery problem.

Hi, Geoff,

You can see stars right down to the very core. Well done.

Best,
Mike

Thanks Rick

Thanks Mike. Yes, showing the stars right down to the core was the only real challenge in processing this one. Much the same can be said about processing GC's in general.
