Having gained some experience in NB imaging over the past six months since aquiring the QSi wsg8 camera, I thought I'd see if my processing skills had improved.

This is the very first image I took with this camera, at the VicSouth star party at Nhill - revisited and reprocessed from scratch using my current workflow of Startools, PS & Nik.
Just wish I'd captured some RGB stars at the time as well!

If I do this again I'll shoot at least 20 min subs and bin the O3 x2, and probably get at least 14 hrs data :)

Bicolour image: 4 hrs Ha & 3 hrs O3 600sec subs. The 1st one is the current one, the 2nd was from November last year.

Thanks for looking

You're starting to get that super-faint chevron on the left. That's an achievement with your aperture.

Nice improvement, Andy. If you're willing to give me a few days to dig out the data and dust it off I can probably give you some RGB stars.

Cheers,
Rick.

I didn't save the integrations so I'll just need to recreate them from the original data. I'll drop you a PM once I get a chance to do it.

Cheers,
Rick.
