Hi all,

Last night I couldn't get AN to align and this morning I think I found the culprit: The yellow and black wires on the ALT encoder have come loose (see attached image).

I am assuming that the yellow cable goes back into slot 2 (Index) and not 1 (Ground)? My other question is how to lock the cable in place on the blue plastic bit?

Hello Jim,

No, that wire is connected to the ground. The index signal is not used. The wire is held by friction - you just need to push it into the slot with some thin piece of plastic if you don't have a special tool.
