Just to let you know that the link to 'Stellar Supply Company' on the sponsors page linked thru the sponsors listed on the left goes to Wavelandscotts Personal Profile.
That's correct Ken.
Scott took the initiative and brought the chairs in from O/S to sell to the astro community.
He can be contacted via PM.
Lovely chairs too I might add.
Thanks for sponsering Scott.

Wow, that is cool...I had not noticed before...
I have been "linked" many times with weird stuff and so I was curious as to what this post was about...what a relief this time to only be "linked" with Stellar Seats...
Cheers All!
Glad to help sponsor this nice forum...
oh, and thanks for the positive comments on the seats ;)

I bought one of them stellar seats from Bintel. Well done Scott for getting them in and having them sold for a great price!
I find it very useful for scopes with EP too high or too low for other seats: 12" f/5 Dob, 8" f/4 Dob, EQ mounted Mak (not needed for 8" f/6 Dob). It is not particularly lightweight, but it is very strong and sturdy.

I had a good laugh at the Astrofest due to one of your seats Scott. At about 00:00 one night while patiently imaging the lovely dark clear skies I heard this rumbling noise. Thinking "where's that thunder coming" from I scanned around looking for the clouds, but couldn't see any. A short time later I heard it again coming from over behind me. I turned on my trusty eveready red head lamp and shined it over to where Alan Meehan was looking through his new ED100 and there was the source of the noise. Alan had fallen asleep looking through the eyepiece while perched on one of your very comfy chairs
 thats a classic paul!
That's how confortable they are !!!!
Actually, too confortable !!!

That is a classic!:)
Maybe I should start collecting these stories formally and create some kind of "extreme/unusual seat use" category or something...:P
