Hi Guys,

I'm new here so forgive me if I mess something up... not sure how to embed a pic in a post...

Comet C/2014 Q2 (Lovejoy) is still going strong!

Here's a shot of it going past NGC 457 in Cassiopeia a couple of days ago.

A large image with more info and technical data about how the image was shot is on the page with the pic.

Hi Jerry,

Welcome to IIS!

I have admired your astro photos for a long time and your tips and techniques have been an immense help in improving my images.

That's a great looking Comet Lovejoy photo.
I love the composition with NGC 457 and great colours.

We lost Comet Lovejoy about 2 months ago so it's good to see it's still going strong.

Hope to see more of your work.

Ross.

nice pic, its amazing just how many comets are buzzing around and can be captured in camera. also interesting to see how they evolve as they travel

Very nice work Jerry, but more so, like Ross, thanks for your tutorials. I have your ver 1 and ver 2 of your cd guides, and these are the foundation of my learning too. Thanks for sharing.
