Here's the first light at the (mostly) completed ROR Observatory. Details on the image, thanks for looking.

It was so nice not having to set up / pack up each night, as I took this over 3 nights to due to clouds.

Congratulations Paul on your new home. A very nice M42 to start with. Looking forward to many more images.

Congrats on going permanent.

The nebulosity, from brightest to faintest, and the fainter stars are very fine indeed. A very nice rendition.

Minor: The brighter stars look like something went bump during processing. Star mask too small for the star, that sort of thing.

Looking forward to more pix.

Thanks everyone. Mike, I did have some trouble with chromatic aberration around the bright stars, and tried to fix it but obviously not very well. Something to work on I guess.

Very nice Paul. A little too much green in there making the blues more grayish.

HLVG is a free plug in from Rogelio Andreas and it will correct that and your Running Man will get the nice blue it should be.

I think we sometimes pick up green airglow and even though shot at a dark site green can "mysteriously" enter into our shots.

A permanent observatory sure is a luxury.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Greg, the green is something I had trouble with, it was a lot worse, but wanted to retain some hint of it in the core as it's primarily OIII emission there. I'm using Startools and don't have Photoshop, so can't use that plug in.
