Bought a side by side plate to enable the use of the Sony A7s with my Canon 200mm F2.8 lens and autoguider, wow what a combo!

This is a stack of 15 shots of 3 minutes. At this early stage I hadn't worked out what was causing the weird star aberrations, it turned out to be a dodgy UV protective filter I'd left on my precious.

Can't wait to image later in the year when it's not just above the horizon at 4.00am.

That's got to be one of my favourite regions of the sky - well done on the early capture, looking forward to the next version, well done Simmo :)

M4 looks gorgeous and just the right colour for a 12 billion year old globular.
