Hello,

Here is an animation of the recent partial lunar eclipse as seen from Brisbane. The animation covers the period 03:55am to 04:56am on Sept 8th. I so enjoyed manually centering the lunar disc on my geared head photo tripod for 60 minutes, that I am seriously considering getting a dob! :P

Thanks again to Mike for hosting the animated gif; it really is great to have the opportunity to share these results with a wider community than my long suffering wife.

Cheers

Dennis

Hi Ving

Thanks!

No, not a cloud, but way out of focus power lines that somehow still registered? I didn't see their effect in the single frame(s) where they appeared, until I watched the animation and then they were obvious.

Cheers
