Hi all.
Here's my last image from the session on the 2nd September. The seeing wasn't quite up to the large image scale, but fleeting moments of sharpness kept me hoping the final image would turn out ok.
Here's a hi-res mosaic of Copernicus, assembled out of 6 avi's, processed using 45 alignment points in Registax4beta, additional processing in AstraImage and Photoshop.
Not quite as sharp as I'd hoped it would turn out, but the low sun angle reveals many small features of interest. I wish I'd taken more coverage of the domes area in the top left hand corner, but that will have to remain a project for next time.
The attached version is a 800px wide reduced (resolution and quality) version - click here to see the full 1280px wide image. (500k jpeg) (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/images/images/moon/20060902-copernicus-full.jpg)
