Great pictures. Amazing that the cyclone missed you. Having said that, I walked outside last night around 10pm (I'm in Brisbane), and there was Jupiter in plain sight!

Can you tell me what focusser you have on your Meade, and what focussing method you use.

I don't know if it's just seeing conditions, collimation or my lack of skill but I can't seen to get anywhere near this amount of detail in my attempts.

Thanks Kev, I have a 2.5" Moonlite with the stepper motor and electronic controller. In good seeing I can adjust in 2 micron steps but normally move 10 steps at a time. I focus each filter individually and adjust constantly trying to find that perfect spot. Firecapture remembers the settings so if seeing is reasonably stable there is no need to keep changing once set, however this rarely happens.
Collimation and focus require constant attention, although my Meade holds collimation reasonably well.

Excellent results. It just confirms my thoughts on the IMX174 sensor as a great all rounder, although in my case I'll be primarily sticking to solar and lunar with my Basler Ace version of this sensor.
