The mount is not running.
I have no idea why its not running. I've loosened and re-tightened
everything per the "astrobaby" website.
The power is getting through as it makes little wheezy noises then stops.
That puts it beyond my skill set. Slipper clutch? Seized gear? Mice?
While I can whip the engine out of your Ferrari, rebuild it and have it back in, before you can say "stop thief", I am totally at sea with electrical "issues". Also, I am using a borrowed handset, so you'll need one of those.
The mount itself is in "pretty good" condition. Some of the bolts have surface rust as do the counterweights. OTOH its not flaking paint or wobbling and smoking. In fact, apart from not working properly, it's in fine fettle. Its currently mounted on a Skywatcher pier which can be included in the sale or not.
I will try to have some pics up by this afternoon, but I'm not having much luck with "Paint" either. I can email images if interested.
Pickup preferred, but can arrange surface delivery at cost. I'm also willing to drive up to 100K to deliver. I badly need to get off-farm.
Mount + Pier: $500 + Post
Mount head / Counterweights alone: $350 + Post
Pier alone: $150 + Post
