Telescope advice

Hi all

I'm looking to buy a telescope and am fairly new to this so am after some recommendations. Budget of around $AUD450 max, something that is not too prohibitive to transport.

when you want a telescope is it to look through -

& not too prohibitive to transport -by car, or carry on for plane etc
