Think I've got most technical issues solved in shooting earth and sky with my new Sony A7s while at altitude.
Clipping along at 950km/hr does cause slight trailing of ground lights, however a simple cowl mounted bracket seems to work well and produces pleasing star images...provided there is no turbulence.
