Hi all. Thought I should pop in here and say g'day. Have a couple of 8" scopes but only 1 mount and tripod. Hopping to pick up some good gear in the classifieds. Also trying to get into the astrophotography side of things as well so I have a long wish list and still a lot to learn.

btw a nice Links page that will be very helpful for me, most of those sites I've never heard of or found in search results. Very handy.

Hey Raymo, Mandurah here. Have been to Margaret River a couple of times and passed through it many to go down south. Nice country down that way.

Thanks Raymo. Every 2-3 years I travel down that way, great dark sky areas. The best was Bluff Knoll.

A good tip though, make sure you leave your credit card at home whenever you go within 35kms of Bintel, or any other telescope shop. Just cant help myself!

Yes and usually a member for a month but you easily qualify for that joining back in 2012.:) I am trying my first sales today and see how I go.

Quite right - I have missed things even being on the site at the time watching the classifieds. There are some people I reckon that are on here constantly on the look out! :P Sometimes persistence and patience pays off though in the end.
