Hi

How to I make and then send via email an audio file using my Apple 5 mobile?

Do U mean recording usingv voice recorder? I don think yo can email them directly off phone, you need to plug into computer afaik to get to the recordin for emailing

You certainly can on an iphone6 running ios8 - and if you are on the Telstra network - don't know about Optus/vodafail.

Open Messages app and select a thread or new message. Down the bottom where you normally enter the text of the message, on the bottom right corner should be a small microphone icon. Press this and you can record audio and send it as a 'message' same as an SMS. This was only supported recently by Telstra by the way.


However it may also be dependent on your iPhone model - on my iPhone4 this feature is not available.

Yes you can.

After recording the voice memo you tap Done, give the recording a a name and save it. You'll then be presented with a list of your saved voice memos, of which you can select one by tapping it. Once one is selected you'll see the Share button underneath it to the left. Tap it and select Mail from the sharing options.
