Full Moon (almost) 7 Sep 06

Here's my effort on the almost full moon last night. 10 shots taken afocally through the 8" Dob. Stacked with mild wavelets in Registax, and a sharpen, crop and resize in Irfanview.

...... and to Dennis if you read this thread, autofocus on the camera didn't work unfortunately. :(

That is a superb image of the Moon. You have controlled the vast range of brightness really well. It is a top image given the relatively unsophisticated equipment at your disposal. You must be a highly skilled, first class operator!
