Hi all.

Here's an image of a crater i've never seen before, I couldn't even find any images of it on the web. It's only visible during libration, which was very tilted towards the south on this night, revealing more of the north limb than I'd ever seen.

I was panning around with the dob with the 5x powermate and DMK21AF04 in, looking at the laptop screen for regions of interest to start imaging. Down on the north limb I saw a very dark area right on the limb. So I chose to image it. Unfortunately the seeing was bad at this stage, so the result isn't fantastic, but I believe it's the crater called "Nansen", and it appears to be filled with shadow.

10" dob on EQ platform, 5x powermate with DMK21AF04 and green filter. 5 point MAP processing, 75 frames from each stacked in registax 4beta.

Thanks for looking.
