Hi Everyone!

I don't often get the scope out at full Moon but this month I thought I'd have a go at imaging the Moon at prime focal length (2800mm). I've had the scope for over 2.5 years now and still hadn't imaged it at F10. I also want to try to create a colour saturated image following Mike's steps from his tutorial "How create a colour saturated Moon photo" (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/63-656-0-0-1-0.html)

I shot five separate AVI files , one for each quarter section of the moon and one recording the centre. Each consisting of 1000 frames with the best 100 stacked, then stitched together using Microsoft ICE.

Further processing carried out in Registax 6 and Photoshop CS4.

Imaged with the C11 Edge HD with Canon 60Da. ISO 100 ,1-125s exp.

Thanks you looking

Cheers

Looks really good rod, nicely processed too, not too strong on the colouring. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Andrew! :)

I found using lower wavelet settings in Registax complimented the data. Then I just followed the tutorial.

Very nice, Rod! Just enough saturation to make it interesting.

Thanks Rick! Yeah, it didn't look right heavily saturated , bit noisy so I back it of until it looked good.
