Looks good but very expensive especially now that our dollar is weak.
$499 USD comes to $642 AUD!

Nice unit, but not sure the massive hike in price compared to the ASI120MM is worth it, given the relatively marginal improvement in specs.

The problem we seem to have in solar imaging (primarily Ha) is the heavy Newton Rings (fringes) generated by the SAI 120MM
I'm hoping they have gone away in any new design......
I paid $662 Au which is close to half what the same chip in a Point Grey costs. For planetary imaging it's almost total lack of noise is the big bonus. Works with Firecapture but needs good usb3 hardware especially if you intend full frame Sola or Luna captures.
The change to a global shutter is also a major improvement for us planetary imagers.
