Well even though the seeing has still not been totally 100% here in Melbourne, it has been quite good by Melbourne standards, so at 36 degrees altitude don't think Jove will get too much better for us Melbournians.

Really having fun now with WinJupos - great program and not sure I was avoiding using it.

Hope to see some images from others - as I am lacking lots of sleep this week.

Clear skies,

John K.

Nicely done John, WinJUPOS has certainly been a game changer for Planetary imaging.

very nice again John, I think Mike is right you are on track for a cracking Jupiter season.

I think conditions tonight may be ok around 2am so I will likely take a peak.

Thanks for the comments Gents,

Conditions are looking even better tonight - if I was not so tired from imaging this week and did not have to get up for a bike ride at 6am I would also be up!

Look forward to seeing other's results.

Cheers,

John K.

Thanks Paul,

With Jove coming towards opposition, still not seeing as many images of Jove on IIS as I would have thought. Looks like Comet Lovejoy has been dominating!
