The Moon

I took this picture of the moon with my Skywatcher Telescope last year in early summer, (december 2014). I have trying to fix up the way the image looks by adjusting the contrast and other affects and i remove some of the bright reflection it had due to the sun.
However when i use the picture as a background for my computer there is a definite blue line around the right side of the picture i took of the moon.
How do i fix it so the blue line is not there?
Does anyone have any program they recommend i can use to improve the picture for viewing pleasure?

i think its ca or chromatic aberration i guess one of the experts should drop in anytime soon and point you in the right direction. i have photoshop 3 and i am still learning the ropes myself . paintshop pro or the gimp may be able to help you however you would have to check to make sure both are cheaper than photoshop. maybe do a search on removing colour fringing should start you in the right direction

do you use registax? There is a function in the program which helps align the rgb channels I 'think' its called 'rgb align' which helps reduce the chromatic scatter.

Nice Brett.
Various Adobe and Corel graphics software has Chromatic Aberration removal tools for these circumstances.
I spent 5 minutes with your picture in Corel Paintshop Photo Pro's CA removal tool with this result.
