Here is my humble effort, far from perfect but should keep me happy until I can capture a better one.
It took a few tricks to get the dust to show itself, but when it did I was surprised at how much there was!
Same setup as always, Canon 350D (with cooler) and 85mm lens, chugging along on my wooden horse shoe tracking mount.
19x 8 minute subs (2.5hrs) with darks.
I hope you like it, I thought I'd better call it a day at my 20th revision :D (fair dinkum) I'll probably do a repro tomorrow that'll turn out better.

That's a very good image Jo.
The dust areas came up very well.

Nice shot, Jo! I don't think I've seen all that in one FOV before.

Wow, what an interesting shot. As Rick said, I haven't seen all that in one shot before either. Really nice work Jo, especially considering you are using a wooden horse shoe tracking mount. Top stuff!

Hi Jo,
I like that - top image.
I probably would have made it a little brighter
& then more contrast with curves.
HDR toning could help?
cheers

Thanks a lot Greg!
Thanks Rick, glad to show you something new.
Thanks Scott.
Glad you liked it Jason, the horse shoe mount has been going pretty good lately. Don't ask me how much time I've spent working on it to get it that way, but it works well when it does.
Thanks Allan, good idea about brightening it up, I'll do a few more repro's and see what happens.
Thanks Trevor!
Cheers

Great looking photo Jo of a beautiful but very difficult area to process.
I love the colours and dusty detail.
Nice composition as well.

Good grief Jo, what you do with a humble 350D is inspiring. Lovely image.
How did you manage to bring out the dust so well?

Thank you Marc!
Thanks Peter,
Um, I don't really know. Lots of practice I guess after the 20 attempts
It's really a matter of trial and error until you finally find the capabilities of the data I have found. Time spent in StarTools is never wasted, I did most of this image in there and still haven't discovered it's limits.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Dark Doodad  And a very nice image. And W-I-D-E! Unexpected orientation compared to how it is normally presented - I like it.
Hey, that is an impressive collection of images on your Astrobin page :2thumbs:

Jo,
That looks fantastic. I'd suggest a bit more brightness and contrast to see the faint stuff, but looks awesome as is.
well done.

That's a great and unique effort Jo - I haven't seen anything like that of that area. And well done on making the most of your gear!
Either you've been up late or are processing some old data.. that area certainly isn't well positioned early in the evening!

Yeah I was up late for this one, started around 1 o'clock I think, after Lovejoy had gone down.
