Hi All,
Imaged Jupiter this morning in rather nice seeing for the alt. Oval BA is rotating into view. There are several white ovals seen in the SSTB and the seeing was good enough to resolve the line of tiny storms along the Northern edge of the SEB. Europa emerges from behind the planet during the period of this session.
As with the previous morning, a couple of hour later started on Saturn. My first data run (4 off 90 sec IR) really was very nice data for the alt of 33 degrees, sadly as Saturn rose higher and the sky brightened the seeing dropped off. The IR image produced from the first data run made for an excellent polar projection.
Regards
Trevor
