Hi All,
Just sharing a pic of my Rosette Nebula. The size of this beast meant I couldn't use my 8" SCT so I ended up using the 80mm f6.25 BOSMA refractor.
I have too much sky glow at my location so this image is taken through Ha 7nm, SII 8nm and OIII filters, combined as SII Ha OIII as RGB as the green image and channel mixed in the red image to try to imitate natural color.
This was a multiple night project consisting of 6 x 30min ISO200 subs in Ha taken at the end of December and then last week one night I did 5 x OIII 30 min ISO200 sub and the next night did 8 x SII 20 min ISO400 subs on my modded Canon 40D.
