Google "ST-4 type Autoguider"
There is plenty to choose from. Im new at all this tracking stuff so im just starting to learn about it all myself. How are you going with alignment of you Star Adventurer?
I can get mine from what I can tell spot on but as soon as I take any photos there are star trails.I align it with my camera set up on it now as to not move when aligned but not quite there yet.
Cheers
Mike
I have got Star Tracker aligned by using an app called Skeye, this from google play..I use this to ensure the tracker is pointing to the south pole.. I use the Lat and Long to get the degree right.... I am about 35'C.. it a bit of pain of getting it right.. I have moved the tripod about and move the legs about or adjusted the knobs on the tracker.. I do a 20 sec exposure.. if all good.. I will take a longer exposure with a prob.. I took the Star Tracker out last night.. it was a bit wind.. made the exposure all snake like.. tonight I am going to try again.. this time it's calm.. I have got two photos from the first time.. I am very pleased.. Orion Nebula and Comet lovejoy!
