Hi to all
Here is the latest version of NGC 3324 with RGB star colours. I also did a few other things, hopefully to make it look a bit more natural. Not sure if I succeeded.
Cheers
Steve

Nice work Steve:thumbsup:
P.S. After staring into the photo for a while I managed to see a face... :)

Thanks Slawomir. It certainly takes a bit of imagination to see the face.

I like this one better Steve. More balanced colour rather than too much red.
Usually the O111 brings some nice bluish hues to the image. Is there not a lot of O111 in this object?
Greg.

There certainly is a lot of OIII Greg and I probably could have brought it out better. More OIII would no doubt have helped. I'll continue playing with it to see if I can get a nice aesthetic view that doesn't look too forced.

Looking better, Steve. Will be interesting to see how you tweak it some more.
Cheers,
Rick.

I'm not spending a lot more time on it. It seems we are arguing mostly on the semantics of how the data should be displayed.

Looks very good. I like the sharp little neb next to that bright star.

What star colour?.

Well spotted. Somehow the colour disappeared during the processing and I didn't feel like going back and doing it again. I do have a nice starless version though but I thought everyone is probably getting sick of this image so I haven't posted it.
Thanks Louie
Thanks Marc. Unfortunately the colour of the neb is a bit washed out.
