Has anyone built the temp controller kit from Oatley Electronics? Their designation is K140B. I recall reading somewhere that there is an error in the PCB overlay and in the instructions - something to do with which jumpers to short for a heating cycle and which for cooling.
Any tips welcome. I'm planning on using this kit in my cooled DSLR kit presently struggling towards completion.

No I'm not sure,
For my camera cooling mod (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=110554&page=2), I used this controller here of eBay.

It worked great. Not sure if that's any help.
Cheers

I 2nd Jo's choice.
I also used one of these. Essentially they are a relay thermostat...but I found they can control to +/- 1 degree accuracy for Peltiers.
Be careful in that some of these controllers are 220V operation some 12V also some may only have a range for +ve temperatures. There are lots of variants on fleabay for ~$20 or less.

Thanks guys. I've ordered this one:

It looks OK and doesn't have any of the negatives Brendan mentioned.
I'm actually doing 3 different peltier projects at the moment. One for a modified 40D, one for an unmodified 350D and another for a DSI II. So I have also ordered a couple of those Oatley kits to play with.
This long stretch of cloudy weather has brought opn some serious tinkering.
Can't help myself.

I use one of these for my sous vide controller, really good low cost controller.

Well, to be honest, I am hoping that I don't cook anything with it!
