It was quite an experience being the only one watching the moon rise at Loch Ard Gorge (besides the 52 souls resting from the Loch Ard shipwreck in the adjacent graveyard).

Thanks guys I am very happy and a little surprised with how well they turned out. Here are the details:

Canon 6D, Sigma 24-105, slight adjustments to brightness, contrast, hue & sharpness in Digital Photo Professional.

For Moonrise (8 sec, 1000 ISO, f4, 24mm, RAW, Noise Reduction On/Strong), I was at the bottom of a gorge looking up at a 40m high cliff, so the moon had actually been over the regular horizon for 2.5 hours. The photo was taken at 11:02:38 pm, and the disc was first visible in another photo at 11:05:05. I've attached another moon rise picture taken at 11:09:31.

For the 12 Apostles, 15 sec, 1000 ISO, f4, 24mm, RAW, Noise Reduction On/Strong. Windy as anything!!!

6 new photos, in order:
Moonrise: 8 sec, 1000 ISO, f4, 24mm, RAW, Noise Reduction On/Strong
Loch Ard Gorge: 15 sec, 2000 ISO, f4, 24mm, RAW, Noise Reduction On/Strong
12 Apostles: 5 sec, 2000 ISO, f4, 24mm, RAW, Noise Reduction On/Strong
Port Campbell Jetty: 15 sec, 1000 ISO, f4, 24mm, RAW, Noise Reduction On/Strong
Port Campbell River: 5 sec, 1600 ISO, f4, 24mm, RAW, Noise Reduction On/Strong
12 Apostles sunset: Fully Automatic settings (1/125, 100 ISO, f8, 24mm).

Thanks for looking.
