What a pleasant surprise. Thanks Geoff.
I just now woke up and checking in and find your message.
I drove down to Brooklyn yesterday from Tabulam and stayed on a mates house boat and started celebrating last night ..all night..just had three hours sleep and getting ready for another all night party starting at the Moonee Workers Club on the Hawkesberry River.
We are going sailing tonight as well if someone remains sober...no me but one of the girls says she will be the sober helmsman.
It's funny getting in and out of the boat and tender as the legs are still not up to it...the grog actually helps as I don't feel the fire in my legs.
Yes I am having a real good time.

Happy birthday young man!
Strewth! Remind me not to party with you. I couldn't stand that pace anymore. I struggled to get to midnight on New Years Eve after not-so-many vinos.
Happy Birthday Alex.
Great to hear you are out and about a short distance from us on the
Hawkesbury. You picked the right day for it.

Thank you all so much you guys have in a major way added to it's enjoyment.
I am tempered to take a foto and let you in on the views here.
Marina life is pretty cool.
I hope to get my boat along side the marina might lash out for a serviced berth ...I will ask what it costs..but just a day tidying cause it must be a mess..been 9 months unattended.
I am on a house boat at the moment , my mate the shipwright and party partner in crime..but this house boat once belonged to Pauline Hanson it's just like a small to medium home unit...
There are these two ducks that come on board..never do they crap on the floor and just sit there while we chat.

Thanks David.
My boat has sunk once, cost me what I paid for it in salvage fees.
Most expensive hobby is restoring an old wood boat.
I could spend a 100k to have my boat worth 20K

We did not go sailing no one could handle two nights in a row. Packed it in at 1 am
Astronomy gives you the ability to do many all nighters.
Anyways still on the house boat with a esky full of beer.
