Looks nothing like a seagull, more like a toucan to me ;) Thinking it would be a good subject to practice mosaic-ing on - if I could get my head around where to start!
Seems strange to be sitting in a hotel room at a resort in Surfers doing this but the kids are swimming, wife's at the bar with her sister and I have some peace at last :) better go before she gets back!
Thanks for looking, feedback welcome

That lokos very good Andy. A bit of noise in the dim areas. Ideally more exposure to smooth it out and make it more solid.

Cheer Rick, appreciate your taking the time to comment and your positive feedback, cheers :)
Thanks Marc, nice of you to say so
Thanks for the helpful feedback Greg. You are absolutely right about the noise of course. These short Summer nights are a killer for limiting data collection. Will endeavour to gather yet more data when back from hols.
Mike, thankyou - I nearly fell of the chair when I read that!
But seriously, thanks. It's the constructive criticism from experienced imagers like yourselves that allow newbies like myself to strive to improve. You guys set the bar pretty darn high. If you think I have made an image that comes anywhere near to your standards then to be honest, I'm delighted! Just grateful for your ongoing inspiration and positive feedback, cheers! Andy

Andy, that image is not just sharp and clear and well composed; it has grab and wow. I like the jagged black dust-lanes, and the subtle colours at bottom right. Well done, Mike.
