i was wondering if anyone has had a go (or known someone who has) at imaging the parallax movement of Proxima Centauri or Alpha Centauri. i realise that this is going to be less than an arc second of movement and would be extremely difficult to pick up with a ground based, amateur telescope but it would be very interesting to see.
You mean something like this?

Hi Andrew, Those appear to be images of the proper motion of the star, not the parallax
