i was repainting the window sill today and this little jumping spider decided to pop in and watch. he stuck around for ages and left after about 2 hrs.... then a beetle thought a run thru the fresh paint would be fun . i guess he was testing the paint to see if it was dry.

cheeky lil buggers huh!

Jumping spiders are great and so colorful. Surprising he stayed so long.

This is recent one from my garden. Amazing jewel like legs.

cause there strange things with there 8 legs!, its got 8 legs and.. ITS ALIVE!!!!! ALLLLIIIVVVVEEEE!!, you know, like frankenstien?

next time you see a spider( non-poison:lol: ), stare at it for awhile and youll realise that it is very scared of you, and even if you have the courage poke it (dont kill it) with a tissue and it will jump in shock!!, they are like little babies!, friendly ones.

hows the sky in melb? its been cloudy for quite awhile here, looks like its starting to clear though, i hope so:)

350d's are great arnt they!

They are fascinating creatures, I love to watch them but dont go near them.
I dont have a phobia as such probably more like a mild fear. We have water spiders in our dam at the farm which are amazing, they dangle their front legs in the water like fishing lines and the little mozzie fish come up for nibble and zap the rest is history.
The Huntsmen that we have are totaly different as well to the ones in the suburbs, they are a half size bigger and almost a chocolate brown.
