Solar Prominences Plasma Flows Animation

Hi All

I did this animation of these tree like prominences about a week ago. Total of 60 frames over 2.75 hours at 2 minute intervals. It demonstrates plasma flows along strong magnetic field lines.

If you look carefully at each of the prominences, particularly the centre one, they appear to be rotating in a synchronous dance as they exchange the plasma.

Thats fantasic to watch Ted, amaizing work ! ! 2 3/4hrs and the plasma appears steadily flowing, tho in hindsight, they're travelling 10's of thousands of klms - awesome indeed :eyepop:

Funnily enough I saw these the day before they rotated around to become filaments. I am glad to see you captured them. Nice animation Ted.
