Hello Everyone,
today I show you an image of the closest planetary nebula to our Solar System: Sh2-216.
The apparent size of this nebula is amazing, the nebula itself is very faint to detect. With the red filter I had only a hint of it, while with the green and blu filters was undetectable. I had therefore to proceed in imaging also in the H-alpha and OIII emission lines to have it adequately highlighted.

Nicely done, Nicola! It must be faint indeed. I see JP Metsavanio is calling this object the cosmic tennis ball :)

Great image and color. I keep forgetting about this one. I must turn the RHA on it.
