Nikon DK-17M 1.2x Eyepiece

Hi everyone,

For sale is my Nikon DK-17M 1.2x Eyepiece. This magnifies the viewfinder by 20% and makes the screen much bigger and easier to see :D Comes with all original packaging and manual (and of course, the eyepiece itself is immaculate) :thumbsup:

Can you please let me know how much does the eyepiece effect the diopter range over that of the original.

Nikon states that the DK-17M extends the diopter range in both a positive and negative direction over the original but does not give a value.

I am particularly interested in the positive direction. I have my diopter (D800) set to the maximum in the positive direction but would like a bit more.

Hi Gelton,

Thanks for your interest. I actually didn't know it increased the range (as I do not wear any glasses so never needed it), I did a quick google search but could not find anything either. Perhaps you could contact Nikon itself? If you are currently on maximum and need a little more, I suppose this would be better than nothing :)
