Just some experimental and rudimental lunar photograghy usung my saxon and a Olympic 5mp camera. A few shadows on the terminator in the vincinty of Craters Tyco and Magnus.

Anybody got any idea what I've done wrong?
I used Photobucket using intructions posted by VING some time ago.
So Ving if your out there HELP?
Oh also apologies for bluring caused by a bit of cloud cover.

Here Moonman, get this download from Microsoft. You do have Win XP I hope! Then to use simply right click on the file you want to resize. The resized file will be saved in the same directory as the original. Simple even for a Radiographer!!. Ya can't get any easier than that. :2thumbs:

Ouch that's huge! :)
I've resized it for you, 800x600 and ~60k jpeg.
You can also crop out the unused parts of the image.. any photo-editing software can do this for you.
Here's the resized/cropped version.

Anyway it's a nice shot for a first try at hand-held. Do you remember what settings you used on the camera?
It looks like there's some blurring, either caused by a long-exposure, or some camera shake as you pressed the shutter.
Try putting the camera on a tripod, or using the self-timer to eliminate the camera shake.
The tycho and clavius area look really nice though, here's some slight processing to enhance the detail.
I've also moved this to the solar system forum.
