Gday some lunar pics from last night :) used a LPI/2x powermate and a 10"SCT .Came out a little darker when I transferred them to the main PC though

Hi Stuart
A very nice portfolio of lunar images, from a very productive night. The LPI is a great camera isn't it? I was out last night too and when I opened my avi's on the desktop PC (LCD monitor) they also appeared darker than on the laptop. I used the histogram to lighten them and a little gamma adjustment and they came up fine then.
You've almost captured the fine rille running along the bottom of the Alpine Valley. The detail in Copernicus is first rate – well done.
Cheers

 Cheers and thanks
Yep Dennis I like using the LPI for Lunar work , just find it more convenient and easier then the ToUcam :P Thanks for the tip about lightening the images up. I tweaked the images a little in Astra image using the Gamma tool, came out a little better :) .Had pretty decent seeing last night i was hoping the shots would come out sharper with the preview screen looking positive, kept most shots between 20-50 frames.
they are dark hey... lovely sharp images tho! :)
